Salary: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour (plus 15% shift uplift)

Working Hours:
Permanent fixed shift (no rotation)
* Back Shift: 2:00pm – 12:00am, Monday to Thursday (15% shift uplift)

Job Description:
This CNC Programmer Setter Operator role sits within a high-precision engineering environment producing small-batch, tight-tolerance components. As a CNC Programmer Setter Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling or turning machines using Fanuc control systems.
The CNC Programmer Setter Operator will work with a range of materials including steel, aluminium, and exotic alloys, ensuring all components meet strict quality standards. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, adjusting offsets, conducting quality checks, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
This position offers variety, technical challenge, and the chance for a CNC Programmer Setter Operator to work on complex components in a supportive and professional team.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer Setter Operator
* Confident programming at the machine using Fanuc (Siemens knowledge advantageous)
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
* Experience working to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment
* Familiarity with precision measuring equipment and CMM inspection
* Experience with exotic materials desirable
* Knowledge of 5-axis or mill/turn machining advantageous
* Positive attitude with a focus on quality and personal development
