Description
Priory Lichfield Road is looking to recruit a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join the team. We have an R&R 28 beds, male and female, 18+.
Based in Walsall, West Midlands, Priory Lichfield Road is a rehabilitation service offering both level 1 and 2 care, all set within a modern, purpose-built centre. It is specifically designed to support both males and females who have severe, complex and enduring mental health needs, which might include treatment-resistant conditions.
What you\'ll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
* Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Participate in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested.
* To assist in the maintenance of stock levels, including pharmaceutical products.
* To assist in the maintenance of ward cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times.
* Develops and maintains a good professional relationship with patients, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.

The role carries shared responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of records, data, and information, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements. Candidates should be educated to at least NVQ Level 1 or hold GCSEs in Mathematics and English, possess basic IT literacy, and understand the importance of strict confidentiality. While no specific experience is required, completing the Care Certificate during the probation period is mandatory, even if previously attained.
