Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day. Kitchen Assistant – Bank £12.71 per hour Bank contract, zero hours Flexible shifts available Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided Onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As a Kitchen Assistant, this role plays an important part in supporting the delivery of high quality meals within a specialist complex care environment. Working on a flexible bank basis, you will assist the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The role involves supporting food preparation, maintaining cleanliness across the kitchen and ensuring all equipment and surfaces are hygienic and well maintained. You will assist with deliveries, storage and stock rotation, ensuring all food safety standards are followed at all times. You will work closely with the wider kitchen team to maintain a safe, organised and efficient environment. A reliable and adaptable approach is essential, ensuring consistency and high standards across all shifts.
