Job Description:
This role is responsible for specialist payroll support in the delivery of UK and Crown Dependency payrolls. It manages critical payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely processing, including gross to net calculations, supporting change projects, and administering legislative documentation such as P60 and P11D. The role involves managing escalations for the tier 2 payroll team, providing guidance and support for resolution.
To be successful, you should have:
* Extensive experience in payroll administration and support at an expert level.
* Strong decision-making skills considering policy, legislation, and operational performance.
* Proven success in driving process and procedural change initiatives from conception to implementation.

Purpose of the role
Manage payroll functions, including calculating employee pay, withholding taxes, deductions, maintaining accurate payroll records, and resolving complex pay queries.
Accountabilities

* Administer and troubleshoot employee payroll records.
* Provide guidance to employees on payroll matters.
* Ensure statutory filings and compliance with government notices.
* Handle payroll statutory reporting and liaise with tax authorities.
