Our industry truly is fascinating and has the variety factor, giving you the opportunity as a Class 1 Full-Time Relief Driver primarily within the ELV Car Transporter team to meet new customers on a regular basis. What you will be doing: As the relief driver for European Metal Recycling, you will assume responsibility for operating a range of vehicles, including Multideck 26t car transporter, 18t Car Transporter, 7.5t Car Transporter, 18t and 26t Skip Lorries, 32t Roll on/Roll off Lorries, and Class 1 Bulk Tippers. Your duties will involve transporting materials between our sites and customer locations, offering coverage for drivers during periods of absence such as holidays or sick leave. This role is essentially based out of our Brentford Depot, however this role would require you to shift between all our Southern depos, on occasion, work within other regional transport departments, requiring nights out. Travel expenses are reimbursed in line with company policy and are subject to limitations. At EMR group Ltd, we prioritise Health and Safety, providing comprehensive training for each vehicle before deployment. Despite the relief driver designation, this is a Full-Time role demanding a 45-hour work week, ensuring consistent engagement and activity. About you: So what do we need from you?
