JOB SUMMARY
The Training & Development Business Partner role is instrumental in the European Central Loss Prevention team. Bringing your passion for learning, innovative thinking, and creative design, you will be a critical part of the design and building of training tools and development programmes that will help us deliver on our education strategy.
Loss Prevention is an integral part of the TJX organisation, having the unique ability to touch and influence all areas of the business as we work to minimise our losses and maximize our profits.

The role will rely on your ability to develop strong internal and external business relationships to provide technical and leadership training using industry-standard software such as Articulate 360 and Adobe. As you storyboard and design the most appropriate learning solutions, including development programmes, training guides, eLearning, and digital content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Partner with stakeholders & SMEs across the organisation to design technical training materials and tools for Loss Prevention and other functions.
* Seek to understand the needs and the voice of the customer when designing and creating learning solutions
* Adopt a project management mindset, ensuring projects are managed in line with critical milestones and deadlines delivered on time
* Demonstrate innovation in the design and build of training products in pursuit of optimum delegate experience
* Partner with HR and L&D effectively.
* Partner with Central Store Operations when projects overlap with associates from the retail audience
* Develop relationships with our global Loss Prevention partners to ensure our European business has a voice at the table
* Maintains flexibility across multiple projects with an ability to adapt and flex thinking and adjust priorities when required.
* Maintains knowledge of new and emerging technology and innovations
* Can identifying opportunities to innovate, making recommendations and suggestions to drive business efficiency and productivity.
* Manages expectations within workflow at all levels to update on progress. Can think future to ensure risks or derailers are identified early and prioritised.
* Uses interpersonal skills to engage with others creating a culture of coaching and support.
* Undertakes development programmes or training courses on an ongoing basis and applies to own learning
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
* Has previous instructional design experience or a strong interest in a training and development role
* Has a good knowledge of learning technology software and can educate others to use
* Can demonstrate fresh modern thinking to innovate our learning and development offer
* Operational knowledge of a retail environment would be advantageous but not essential.
* European Home/Office-based (Watford campus) role
* Highly organised with excellent time management skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and act on your initiative logically and decisively.
* Can demonstrate an awareness of cultural differences and European market requirements
* Can deliver both tactically and strategically whilst managing ambiguity
* Has the ability to influence at all leadership levels to secure sponsorship
* Business partners can quickly identify key stakeholders internally, externally and cross-functionally.
* Can lead others to produce output and deliver results
* Ability to work to tight deadlines, act on own initiative and can demonstrate agility and pace to deliver requirements for the end user
* Has a track record of identifying talent and developing self and others
* Intermediate PC Skills (Microsoft Office Applications)
* Working knowledge of Articulate (Rise & Storyline), Workjam and Adobe software suite, including Premier Pro, In-Design, and Illustrator, would be advantageous.
* Language skills in German, Polish or Dutch would be advantageous.
* Flexibility to travel globally when required
* Full Driving License
