Our client are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team Oxfordshire. As a Quality Inspector you will be a key resource within the team.
Shift pattern:
1. 8:30am-5:00pm
2. Monday-Thursday 34 hours a week
3. 30-minute lunch break
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, your duties will include but are not limited to:
4. Accurate and appropriate measurement of product features to determine conformance/non- conformance to
5. To carry out first-off inspection for the Machine Shop, and where necessary, assist with in-process inspection.
6. To produce clear, concise and presentable inspection
7. Utilise metrology equipment such as our CMM, Form tracer, Surface Tester to aid the inspection process.
8. Responsible for the safe storage and upkeep of Inspection department measuring instruments, and to assist with calibration when
9. Complete non-conformances and concessions when necessary and maintain relevant documentation

Essential Requirements:
20. Minimum 2 years experience of working within an inspection
21. Ability to use standard metrology equipment in the correct application, including but not limited to: Callipers, Bore Micrometres, Height Gauge, Surface Plate, Indicators, Pin and Ball Gauges.
22. Experience with creating presentable inspection reports
23. CMM Operating
24. Ability to read complex Engineering
25. Understanding of GD&T.
26. Experience of working with customers and

28. CMM Programming experience (preferably MCOSMOS)
29. Form tracer / Surface tester experience
30. Calibration Management experience
