The Organisation
An independently owned medical communications business – a full-service agency working with pharmaceutical clients across medical education, digital solutions, and patient engagement.
The Role
A newly created position due to company growth, suitable for candidates with at least 1 year of experience at Senior Medical Writer level.
With a key focus on creating scientifically accurate content, you will:
1. Take a hands-on role in all medical writing outputs.
2. Train, coach, and mentor junior writers, potentially assuming line management responsibilities.
3. QC and review all content to ensure high quality and adherence to client briefs.
4. Lead client calls and meetings, acting as the Scientific Lead for specific projects.
5. Collaborate with the Client Services & Creative teams, providing input into budget development and creative designs.
Candidate Profile
As a Senior Medical Writer, you will demonstrate:
1. A track record of medical writing experience within a medical communications agency, with at least 1 year at Senior Medical Writer level.
2. The ability to mentor and coach junior team members.
3. Experience liaising directly with clients, HCPs, and KOLs, taking a lead on projects with a focus on high-quality outputs.
4. Ideally, a university degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant scientific discipline.
