We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and caring person to join our small and friendly Children’s Occupational Therapy team.
This is a permanent 22.3 hours/ 3 days a week post. The work pattern is 3 days Monday through Friday.
The post is based in the Helensburgh office, Victoria Integrated Care Centre, East King Street.

This is an exciting post working with the Children’s Occupational therapy team to support parents, children and young people with a range of physical, sensory and developmental concerns.
As a service we support children and young people from birth to 18 years of age.

The post holder will be allocated a delegated patient caseload by the qualified Therapist and, following training and induction, be expected to work independently, assessing the patient’s care needs and/or modifying existing treatment plans, providing advice and strategies, and delivering this care along agreed clinical pathways; this could include progressing patients therapy program, demonstrating care program to parents and education support staff, running small group work, reassessing and discharging within the scope of practice.

This is a community post possibly requiring travel to nurseries, schools, community groups and patient homes, as well as making best use of technology with online virtual appointments.
Experience working in Healthcare and with children is desirable.
The post holder will be using technology for patient on line appointments, patient record keeping, clinical administration and caseload admin.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
