We are recruiting a General Manager for The Palm House in Victoria. A two floor, vibrant and fun venue that is famous for an incredible Bottomless Brunch, tequila & tacos with the most energetic team in Victoria!
The Role:
Taking full ownership of the day to day operations, long term strategy, team development, and overall profitability of your venue.
You bring imagination, joy and a boundless passion for incredible people, outstanding hospitality and commerciality in every aspect of yout business. We are looking for impactful people to push the boundaries of hospitality and give our guests a truly unique experience.
We Expect You To:
Have experience leading large sized teams in high volume premium venues.
Have full autonomy and ownership of your business including the financial conversion, people development and operation.
Make the decisions based on what is best for the business and your team.
Have a strong understanding of commerciality and conversion.
See the beauty in being disruptive and ask a lot of questions.
Be an undisputable leader in your business.
Implement structure to all aspects of your business and empower your management team to do the same.
Be obsessed with service standards, guest experience and people development.
Have a big heart and want to impart your knowledge onto your team.

Take full responsibility for the health and safety of your guests and team while inside and leaving the venue.
Coach your team to lead joyous and independent shifts and ensure high service standards are kept to, including actively encouraging your senior team to coach the team in their development.
Be an effective leader who is approachable, honest and supportive in driving the business forward.
Actively promote our online compliancy training to ensure the venue and our team are always compliant and safe.
Motivate and support your team providing priceless insight into your business and your venue.
Deliver financial and measurable targets with ownership and pride.
Adapt quickly to changing environments, taking on new challenges.
Communicate effectively and clearly.
Ask for support when it is needed.
