Job Description

Are you a passionate and creative Dietitian who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? At Kids at Play Therapy Services (KAP) in Ipswich, we’re building a vibrant, multidisciplinary team that values connection, growth, and play-based practice.

We’re on the lookout for a Paediatric Dietitian who shares our heart for helping children thrive - whether that’s supporting feeding challenges, nutrition for growth and development, or building family confidence around mealtimes.

Why Join KAP?

* Structured 12-Month Onboarding - Two weeks of dedicated training + a gradual caseload increase over 6 months, so you feel supported and never overwhelmed.
* Strong Clinical Team - Work alongside experienced Speech Pathologists, OTs, Physios, Psychologists, and Allied Health Assistants, with over 20 years of combined expertise.
* Professional Growth - Generous PD budget + dedicated PD leave to support your learning and career goals.
* Support at Every Step - Weekly supervision, regular peer mentoring, and a collaborative culture that values your voice.
* Flexibility That Works - Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle and commitments.
* Dedicated Admin Team - So you can focus on what you do best: supporting children and families.
* Impactful Work - Help children and young people (including those supported under the NDIS) build skills for communication, nutrition, wellbeing, and independence.

About The Role

* Provide individualised dietetic assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with developmental delays, disabilities, and feeding concerns.
* Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centred, evidence-based care.
* Support families to build routines around mealtimes, fussy eating, texture progression, and special dietary needs.
* Contribute to the development of innovative therapy resources and programs that make nutrition fun and accessible.
* Engage in community partnerships to support families across Ipswich and surrounds.

What We’re Looking For

* Bachelor or Master’s degree in Dietetics (eligible for Dietitians Australia membership).
* Passion for working with children, young people, and families in a supportive, inclusive way.
* Interest in feeding, fussy eating, mealtime management, and supporting neurodiverse children.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills - we love collaboration!
* A growth mindset and willingness to learn.

Location & Perks

* Based in Ipswich, QLD, with modern therapy rooms and a growing resource library.
* Competitive salary package
* Opportunities to contribute to service innovation (AHA programs, early intervention resources, multidisciplinary projects).
