Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Must be able to work Saturdays, we are closed Sundays. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the overall atmosphere of our restaurant. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks to enhance the dining experience.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system.
* Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
* Assist with food preparation when necessary to support kitchen staff.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
* Provide recommendations on menu items, including special dishes or drinks.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Skills
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Experien in catering is a plus, enhancing your versatility within the team.
* A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
* Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while providing excellent customer service.
