HGV Technician We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to work for our client who are in Leeds, West Yorkshire. THE DUTIES: * Carry out routine inspections and servicing of HGVs in line with maintenance schedules * Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance in a safe and professional manner * Diagnose vehicle faults accurately using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques * Investigate mechanical and electrical issues and report findings clearly * Complete all repairs in accordance with current manufacturer standards and guidelines * Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company procedures * Maintain accurate records of inspections, diagnostics, and repair work completed * Report directly to the Workshop Manager and communicate any issues or additional work required ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: * Please only apply if you have the proper Mechanical qualifications i.e. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or time served with an IRTEC accreditation. * Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics * Experience working on tippers, tipper grabs or beaver tails * Knowledge of latest diagnostic systems * Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) HGV License (Car License Holders will also be considered) * We very much pride ourselves on the standards of service on all of our vehicles.
