We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team full-time, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) or Special Educational Needs (SEN) across provisions in the Bolton area.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children in SEMH or SEN settings is essential
* Must be available to work full-time hours
* Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own transport
* Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy and resilience
Role Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with SEMH or SEN to manage and improve their behaviour
* Implement individual behaviour support plans under guidance from teaching staff
* Assist in creating a safe and positive learning environment
* Work closely with teachers, SENCo, and other professionals to monitor progress
* Accompany pupils to off-site activities and transport as required
