About the role
As we approach GCSE exam season I am recruiting for Exam Invigilators to support schools in ensuring that the exam season runs smoothly.
Exam Invigilators require an approachable manner and the ability to communicate with ease with staff and students.
In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed, the successful applicants will be responsible for the setting out and collecting of exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room, invigilating during the exams and collating the exam papers to be sent off to the Exam boards. Duties may include reading and scribing for students during exams.
We are looking for individuals who have:
Experience of working with children and young people.
Good communication skills.
A flexible approach to working arrangements, being able to work as and when required.

Successful Exam Invigilators will be working in a range of secondary schools throughout Tameside and local surrounding areas.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Exam Invigilators you will:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instruction
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
