Tradition is currently seeking to appoint an IT Service Manager to be based in our London office.
Main responsibilities within the IT Service Manager position include:
Participate in efforts to improve levels of Service and minimize risks through use of Incident and Change Management processes/data.
Work with the technical leads and other relevant stakeholders across the UK/EMEA to embed the Tradition Service Management framework.
Enhance and develop Tradition ITSM tool (Halo ITSM) and ensure that it is being used by local core IT Support teams.
Drive continuous improvement activities in the area of change and incident management and in conjunction with the relevant technical leads.
Act as the Major Incident coordinator for regional incidents that don't have a clear owner.
Interface with Local Risk, Compliance and Security teams on relevant incident management aspects.
Act as local "best practice Champion" and provide detailed metrics and reports on Services performances to IT and business.
Key skills and experience required in this role:
Previous experience in a service management role, preferably in a technology-driven industry.
ITIL certified (Foundation level minimum) and knowledge of ITSM tools.
Understanding of Information Security controls, Compliance, and Regulatory requirements.
Experience with Major Incident management and writing Incident Reports.
Knowledge of capital & OTC markets and electronic trading is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with SQL-based reporting tools, ITSM ticketing systems (e.g., Halo ITSM), and Service Operation/Transition models.
