Overview
We’re an established and growing digital agency situated in the heart of Cardiff Bay looking to add a new Senior Laravel developer to our brilliant team. (UK based – Location Flexible) We’re well known for our design skills and for building and maintaining bespoke online systems for automotive brands. We have expertise on PHP and .NET stacks and over 100 years of software experience combined. We believe PHP, Laravel and the associated design patterns enable rapid development of exciting online systems.
We are looking for someone with experience of the Laravel ecosystem to join our team.
What will you be doing
* Reporting to the Development Team Lead, work closely with project managers, front-end and back-end developers, and client support to turn client requirements into robust solutions.
* Be highly proficient in the programming language(s) used by the Development Team—comfortable with core principles, common pitfalls and platform quirks—and confident operating in that environment.
* Lead by example: write clean, maintainable, well-documented code; work from requirements and deliver the vast majority of tasks independently; raise risks early and propose practical solutions.
* Help others succeed through mentoring, pairing and clear guidance on good operational practice; contribute to shaping, documenting and iterating our processes.
* Advise the Department Team Lead on emerging technologies and process improvements relevant to our stack; be accountable for meeting targets and objectives set by your team lead.

Essential Skills/Experience
* Demonstrated experience in a digital agency role
* Proficiency with DevOps or similar for project and team management

* Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of fostering collaboration across the team
