Barrister Position Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Barrister from chambers, the employed bar, or civil litigation background to join their established and expanding advocacy team. Preferred experience in Personal injury (though wider litigation backgrounds are welcome). What you will do as a Barrister: Represent claimants in trials, CMCs/CCMCs, interim hearings, IAHs, Stage 3 portal hearings, and other advocacy across England & Wales Draft advices, pleadings, and skeleton arguments Guide junior advocates and ensure high standards of service Stay current with procedural changes, case law, and legislation Expect regular travel, including potential overnight stays This role offers the opportunity to work with solicitor owner-managers in a fast-growing firm, as their third in-house barrister, reporting to the Head of Advocacy. You’ll receive instructions similar to external counsel and be involved in both fast-track and occasional multi-track litigation.
