Wrap Around Care Setting Manager – Premier Education

Inspire, lead, and make a difference Manage before & after school childcare, ensuring a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. Competitive pay, training & progression opportunities.

Location: Primary School, Slough

Contract: Term time only – 39 weeks per year

Hours: Split shift, Monday to Friday (7:30am–9:00am & 2:45pm–6:00pm)

Pay: £14.54–£15.52 per hour (includes 12.07% holiday pay)

(Base rate £12.97–£13.85 per hour, plus holiday pay on top for full transparency)

The Role

As a Wrap Around Care Setting Manager, you will lead the delivery of our childcare provision, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Your role is essential in supporting their wellbeing, development, and enjoyment, while also leading and inspiring a team to deliver excellence every day.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a safe, welcoming environment where children feel valued, supported, and excited to join in.
* Plan and deliver a variety of fun, creative, and active sessions that support physical, social, and emotional development.
* Apply Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles to enrich children's experiences.
* Manage, support, and motivate your team, including regular huddles, 1:1s, and feedback sessions.
* Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for your setting, ensuring safeguarding and child protection procedures are upheld at all times.
* Maintain compliance with Premier Education Professional Standards (PEPs), health & safety, and company policies.
* Build strong relationships with parents, schools, and children, ensuring positive communication and trust.

What We're Looking For

* Experience in childcare, playwork, or education settings (essential).
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements (DSL training desirable).
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Warm, enthusiastic, and professional approach with children and families.
* A commitment to creating inclusive, engaging, and fun experiences for every child.
* Relevant childcare or playwork qualification (desirable).
