We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to come and join the team at our Goole Rail Village.
This role is part of the Warehouse team who offload, receive and put away material into the warehouse before picking, packing and despatching to the production line while working in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
* Picking and packing products, building kits and delivering to the production line as required.
* Uses appropriate MHE to offload safely and accept incoming goods.
* Follows appropriate standard operating procedures and safe systems of work at all times.
* Records incoming goods into the system, ensuring attention to detail and meeting quality inspection requirements.
* Ensures accurate 'put-away' of goods into the appropriate storage locations in warehouse, confirming via barcode scanning system.
* Picks goods to correct quantity and specification as per request from production line, kit forming where necessary.
* Performs stock counts as required, and acts at all times to preserve a high level of stock integrity.
Essential Qualifications
* Suitable experience in a logistics environment.
* Suitable experience using MHE.
* Strong understanding of HSE requirements in an operational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse environment.
* Any other MHE certificates.
* Manual handling certificate.
* Any HSE qualification.
* Experience of kitting processes and BOMs.
