Job Title: Recovery Practitioner
Location: Kingston
Contract: Temporary - 3 Months Initially (With Likely Extension)
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Pay Rate: £23 P/H (Umbrella Ltd £20.59 P/H PAYE Inclusive / £18.37 P/H PAYE Exclusive)
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of substance misuse service users, including opiate, non‑opiate, mixed, and alcohol dependencies.
* Complete comprehensive assessments and risk assessments.
* Deliver structured psychosocial interventions and recovery plans.
* Provide one‑to‑one key working and support sessions.
* Deliver harm‑reduction advice and recovery‑focused interventions.
* Support service users with health, well‑being and social inclusion.
* Maintain accurate and timely case‑management records.
* Work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams and partner agencies.
* Promote safeguarding and adhere to all compliance procedures.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working within substance misuse services.
* Experience as a Recovery Practitioner.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
* Experience managing complex caseloads and delivering interventions.
* Excellent communication, organisation and case‑recording skills.
* Enhanced Adults & Children DBS (within 12 months or registered on Update Service).
* Valid right to work documentation.
* Satisfactory employment references.
