Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Psychotherapist, Clinical Psychologist, or Counselling Psychologist with management experience to join our vibrant therapeutic community in Folkestone. The role involves direct therapeutic work, service improvement, and team leadership within a supportive setting dedicated to adults with complex emotional difficulties.
Main Duties
* Providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team
* Ensuring high standards of service quality and performance
* Managing referrals and treatment phases
* Offering supervision and case consultations to community teams
* Conducting assessments and leading psychodynamic psychotherapy groups
* Facilitating community meetings and group therapy within the therapeutic community
* Developing training and co-produced educational opportunities
* Upholding relational practice, inclusivity, and co-production values
* Managing complex cases and community dynamics
* Supporting operational management and deputising for clinical leads
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications and Knowledge
* Registered therapist (psychotherapist, clinical psychologist, or counselling psychologist)
* CPD relevant to the field
* Knowledge of therapeutic community principles and MBT training
Experience and Skills
* At least 4 years post-registration clinical experience
* Extensive experience in group therapy with complex emotional needs
* Line management experience
* Therapeutic community experience
* Ability to assess, formulate, and create treatment plans
* Risk management skills
* Leadership and team management skills
* Experience with co-production and data-driven service improvement
