Benjamin Edwards are currently recruiting for an organised and self:motivated Assistant Financial Accountant to join a successful and rapidly growing company in Lincoln. As Assistant Financial Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate, timely financial information and maintaining effective financial controls across the organisation. You will be involved in key reporting cycles and will help provide insight that supports decision:making and operational efficiency.

The role of Assistant Financial Accountant
* Assisting with month:end and year:end close processes, as well as budgeting and forecasting activities
* Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines
* Producing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure strong financial governance
* Ensuring accuracy across profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow reporting
* Investigating and explaining significant variances against budget and prior:year results
The ideal candidate for the role of Assistant Financial Accountant
* Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
* Either be studying towards, or planning to progress through, a professional finance qualification
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
* The ability to work effectively in a fast:paced setting
