Overview
As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you'll be an essential member of the pharmacy team, supporting the safe and effective preparation of medications and ensuring the best possible service to our patients. You'll work closely with the Pharmacist and wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
* Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently using Titan PMR
* Label, assemble, and prepare medications for patients
* Provide exceptional customer service and medication advice (under supervision)
* Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management
* Assist with NHS and private pharmacy services and public health campaigns
* Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment
* Engage with the local community to promote accessible healthcare
* Uphold pharmacy standards, policies, and GPhC regulations
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser Qualification (essential)
* Experience in a community pharmacy setting (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
* Friendly, professional, and confident communication style
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
* Comfortable using pharmacy systems, especially Titan PMR
* A genuine passion for helping patients and supporting your community
