The role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-value projects within our Defence Digital Team.
1. Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers.
2. Delivery of the project outputs, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales).
3. Ensuring project members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements; and have appropriate personal objectives recorded in the QinetiQ performance management system.
4. Resolving conflicts within the project and collaborating across QinetiQ.
5. Maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand signal) for sales and delivery which reflects the up-to-date expectations for the work.
6. Application of governance requirements (including lifecycle, project & independent reviews as appropriate) for foundation sales and delivery work.
This role is full-time, 37-hours per week, and based at Bristol site with flexible, hybrid working arrangements.
Essential Experience for the Project Manager
7. Previous experience operating as a Project Manager
8. Previous experience of delivering projects into the MOD would be desirable
9. Experience of managing a complex project or programme is desirable
Qualifications for the Project Manager
10. Previous experience in a Project Management
11. APM qualified, or another comparable PM qualification
