A highly respected regional accountancy practice in Banbury is looking for a Part-Qualified Audit Senior to join its growing corporate services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified ACA or ACCA professional with at least 2 years’ audit experience to join a dynamic firm that offers structured development, varied client exposure, and fast-track progression.
The Role
This role offers a balanced mix of audit, accounts, and tax work, with clients ranging from SMEs to not-for-profits. You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team while having the autonomy to manage assignments and grow your technical skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and executing audits, identifying risks, and performing fieldwork
* Supervising junior team members and contributing to their development
* Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for review
* Completing personal tax returns for a range of clients
* Managing deadlines, budgets, and client expectations
* Maintaining clear documentation and delivering a smooth audit process
* Building strong client relationships and delivering a professional service
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and motivated individual who enjoys responsibility and variety in their work.
You’ll need to have:
* ACA or ACCA part-qualified status (with minimum 2 years’ audit experience in practice)
* Experience planning and completing audits
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* A keen interest in developing your technical skills and supporting junior staff
* Good working knowledge of Excel and accountancy software (experience with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or CCH is an advantage)
* A full UK driving licence (for occasional client site visits)
