Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Sign Manufacturer & Fitter to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the production and installation of various types of signs, including but not limited to, vinyl, illuminated, and wayfinding signage. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure signage is produced and installed accurately and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Producing and installing a variety of signs including internal and external signage, lightboxes, and graphics.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure proper sign placement and installation.
Operating installation tools and machinery safely.
Ensuring the signs are produced and fitted to meet company quality standards.
Working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
Managing and maintaining tools and equipment.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations during installations.
Maintaining a professional appearance and delivering excellent customer service.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience as a Sign Manufacturer and Fitter or in a similar role (including vehicle & architectural wrapping) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of sign production and installation techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
A valid driver’s license is required.
CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is preferred.
Experience with electrical signage and illumination is a plus.
