Health And Social Care Lecturer Job Description
Scholars School System, a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB), a registered charity founded in 2006, with campuses across the UK including Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bradford, and Leicester, is looking for a Health and Social Care Lecturer with HE experience based at the Leicester campus.
Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider offering world-class education with programmes from Foundation Year to Level 7, in partnership with institutions like Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 learners from the UK and EU have completed their courses in the last five years, with a current student population of over 3000.

Reports to: Associate Dean/Head of Department
Purpose:
Due to growth, we are hiring lecturers in the health and social care faculty at Leicester. Successful candidates will ensure an excellent student experience through engaging teaching and assessment methods, ideally combining industry and academic experience at various levels.
Responsibilities:
* Planning, delivering, and assessing student work to meet learning outcomes.
* Developing and updating course materials.
* Conducting teaching, marking, assessment, and providing feedback.
* Supporting organizational and statutory requirements.
* Collaborating with external partners and organizations.
* Leading modules and related activities.
Requirements:
* Masters’ degree in Health & Social Care or related field.
* Minimum one year of UK teaching experience.
* PGCert / Fellowship in FHCA (highly desirable).
* Enthusiasm for delivering quality education.
* Proven leadership in educational pedagogy and program development.
* Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.
* Experience with assessment, assessment feedback, and using technology in teaching.
* Organizational and leadership skills.
Salary and Benefits:
* Competitive annual salary based on qualifications and experience.
* On-site hours from 9am to 6pm.
* Regular trips may be required.
* 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
* Up to £5k annual incentives, paid quarterly upon meeting KPIs after probation.
* Annual salary increase of 3% upon meeting KPIs.
