Operations / Trade Support Analyst – Physical Commodities (Metals)
A high-performing physical commodity trading firm is expanding its London operations team. The business is globally active across both physical and derivative markets, with offices in London, Monaco, Dubai, and Asia.
They’ve doubled in size every year for the past 3 years — and are looking for the right person to help sustain that momentum.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in executing and supporting physical commodity trades, including:
* Inputting and reconciling physical trades
* Managing trade confirmations and settlement flows (buyers, sellers, brokers, banks)
* Handling Letters of Credit, UCP600 docs, incoterms, Bills of Lading
* Liaising with freight forwarders, ports, and internal finance for P&L/invoicing
* Working closely with a small, fast-paced, collaborative team
What We’re Looking For
* Physical commodities operations experience (any commodity)
* Experience working with global imports/exports
* Proficiency in Aspect CTRM software is a strong plus
* 1–10+ years’ relevant experience
* Comfortable juggling multiple moving parts in a high-growth environment
* A stable employment history – ideally not a frequent job-hopper
* Hungry to grow or already established – we’re open to both
