Our client is market-leading supplier of capital equipment, service, and technical support to the UK and European electronics manufacturing industry. Our expertise covers a wide range of processes including assembly, inspection, soldering, coating, testing, and profiling.
They are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team, providing installation, service, repair, calibration, and technical support at customer sites across the South East. Youll be a key player in ensuring the smooth delivery and commissioning of advanced equipment, supporting customers at every stage from installation to aftersales care.

The Role:
Provide installation, service, repair, calibration and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
Commission equipment at customer sites and its final release to the production.
Qualify usefulness of equipment and process before purchase by customer.
Provide technical expertise and support to all stakeholders.
Ensure that all necessary documentation associated with all tasks are up to date.
Identify equipment and process related issues and barriers to enable successful installation, training, and commissioning at customer sites.
Full compliance with company policies, procedures, and behaviour framework.
Attend meetings, conferences, trade shows and training courses as and when appropriate.
What Were Looking For:
Preferably degree-qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Preferably least 5 years experience in electronics engineering and component technology
Preferably Strong knowledge of production processes including soldering, inspection, testing, and coating
Confident working with mechanical and electrical schematics, PC networks, and SQL databases
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach
Full UK driving licence
