We operate an annualised hours working agreement, consisting of 3 x 12 hour shifts per week across a 24/6 operation. Shifts are 6am until 6pm, 6pm until 6am.
JOB PURPOSE:
The successful candidate will understand the daily performance requirements specific to straight-line (including inline Tamarack Unit) gluing to deliver operational expectations in line with the company’s business targets. You will have the drive to improve overall performance in the Finishing department where possible and understand where excellence ‘’is’’ and implement the processes to get there, consistently improving Finishing team performance. In addition to inspecting the quality of the products printed, ensuring they are to the customer’s specification and deliver On Time in Full (OTIF).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. To meet set targets on straight-line machines
2. To undertake training on all machines and processes that are used in the department.
3. Completing job and operator shop floor data capture AC4D accurately
4. Working to the daily scheduling priority order, collect relevant Work-in-Progress and convert to the customer specification to ensure delivery to customers On Time in Full (OTIF)
5. Adherence to Health and Safety best practices in line with Company policy and current legislation
6. To maintain all machinery and equipment in line with established planned maintenance programmes
7. To keep work area clean and tidy ensuring that the highest standards of housekeeping are always maintained.
8. Maximising machine efficiency & participate in continuous improvement initiatives in production.
9. Train to be able to run complex machines that are runners
