Bournville is the home of Cadbury's in the UK, and we are now looking for an Early Careers Leader within to join us.
The purpose of this role is to define and implement multiple routes of entry for early career professionals from STEM schools, Apprenticeships, Internships and Graduates into a more cohesive, streamlined operations system enabling faster response to talent acquisition and candidates and faster placement into key positions within the Plant. Externally you, alongside our wider Early Careers Talent Acquisition team, will develop strong relationships with pipeline education establishments and collaborate to build a more compelling education/ trainee offering to local student talent.
This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our wide ranging Early Careers Programmes. This role will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our company by ensuring the successful development of our early career employees.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Programme Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of the Engineering Graduate and Early Careers Programme. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing all programme activities.
2. Training and Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development plan for early career employees. This includes identifying skill gaps, coordinating with internal and external trainers, and tracking progress.
3. University and College Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with universities and colleges to attract top talent. This includes attending career fairs, giving presentations, and coordinating internships.
4. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with various stakeholders including HR, line managers, and senior leadership to ensure the programme aligns with company objectives.
5. Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of programme participants. Provide feedback and guidance to help them grow professionally.
Qualifications:
6. Proven experience in managing Graduate or Early careers programmes.
7. Strong understanding of the food manufacturing or FMCG industry
8. Expertise in local market knowledge, the most effective sourcing channels, industry networks, and competitive landscapes to drive efficiency in recruitment process
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to build strong relationships with universities and colleges.
