You will join an organisation focused on delivering measurable value across sourcing, procurement, resourcing and project activity. This is a strategic role that shapes howmercial value is identified, tracked and realised across the organisation.
Your new role
As Associate Procurement Director, you lead the strategy and frameworks that maximisemercial impact. You design benefit tracking models, guide senior stakeholders and make sure every procurement, resourcing and project activity delivers tangible oues.
Your remit covers:
1. Leading benefits realisation strategy aligned with corporate priorities andernmentmercial policy.
2. Embedding data‑driven benefit planning into procurement, resourcing and project lifecycles.
3. Creating and overseeing frameworks for benefit planning, tracking and reporting.
4. Monitoring supplier delivery to inform sourcing strategies and improve long‑term value.
5. Identifying efficiency opportunities across sourcing, resourcing and project activity.
6. Strengthening supplier performance management and intervening when risks threaten value delivery.
7. Providingernance and assurance to senior leaders andernment stakeholders.
8. Owning business case templates, performance tracking and capability development.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Senior‑level experience across procurement,mercial, sourcing or project environments, ideally in the public or regulated sectors.
10. Strong track record in benefits realisation,mercial impact tracking and value‑based decision making.
11. Deep knowledge of public procurement frameworks, sourcing policy, project methodologies and contract management best practice.
12. Confident stakeholder leadership, with the ability to challenge, influence and hold teams to account.
13. Strong analytical capability,munication skills and the ability to provide meaningful assurance.
14. Experience working with or alongside arm’s‑length bodies, centralernment or major delivery programmes.
15. A continuous improvement mindset, a collaborative approach and the ability to work autonomously.
16. MCIPS is desirable.

Apetitive salary of up to £75,000 per annum is on offer with an excellent package on offer including an achievable bonus, excellent pension, 38 days holiday and hybrid/flexible working (2 days in the office / 3 days working from home).
