Job Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council is enhancing its all-age social work practices within the Bassetlaw Social Work Community Team. We are looking for dynamic and passionate Social Workers who possess the relevant knowledge and skills to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families. In this role, you will be part of a supportive team during a time of change and development, focused on improving outcomes for the people of Bassetlaw. Our mission is to empower individuals to live the life they desire in their chosen homes, surrounded by their loved ones.


Key Responsibilities

* Identify individuals’ goals and aspirations.
* Coordinate a range of outcomes to meet diverse needs.
* Explore reablement and enablement opportunities.
* Access appropriate services to support individuals.
* Use strength-based approaches to promote choice, control, personalisation, and self-directed support.
* Manage a mixed caseload effectively within a fast-paced, friendly team environment.


Required Skills & Qualifications

* A social work qualification recognised by Social Work England.
* Registered with Social Work England or an equivalent body and evidence of continuous professional development.
* Detailed knowledge of community care services within health or social care settings, and legislation & policy in relation to adult community care services.

Work Base: Sherwood Energy Village, Ollerton, NG22 9FF and Worksop Library, Worksop, S80 2BP

Salary: £34,434 - £44,075 per annum (pro rata)

Type of vacancy: Permanent

Work pattern: Full Time, Part Time

Hours per week: 3 x 37 and 1 x 18.5

Working Arrangements: Hybrid
