We are seeking a Workshop Welder Fabricator to join a permanent position in Cambridgeshire.
Salary: £17-£20 per hour (PAYE). Hours: 7:30am-4pm Mon-Thurs / 7:30am-3pm Fri, 39 hrs + overtime. Contract Type: Permanent. Holidays: 22 days plus bank holidays. Start: ASAP.
Duties
* Carrying out fabrication and welding work from engineering drawings within the workshop
* Producing accurate assemblies, ensuring quality and dimensional standards are maintained
* Working with a variety of steel sections and components
* Preparing materials, setting out, and finishing fabricated items to specification
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator
* Skilled in MIG welding Structural Steel & Architectural Metalwork
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
