We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher with a focus on KS5 development (ability to teach at least one science to A-Level) to join our Science department. This role offers the potential to take on leadership responsibilities with a TLR for the right candidate, focusing on our A-Level provision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3-5, specializing in at least one science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at A-Level.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, especially for advanced learners.
* Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including practical experiments, to enhance A-Level learning.
* Lead the development and implementation of innovative A-Level Science curriculum.
* TLR opportunity for a candidate demonstrating leadership potential in KS5.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
* Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a strong emphasis on A-Level.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum, especially at KS5.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated leadership potential in KS5 delivery (for TLR consideration).
* Ability to teach at least one science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) to A-Level.
