The Role
This is a full-time, office-based position providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the firm's busy residential conveyancing department. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient progression of property transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Audio and copy typing of legal correspondence, forms (Oyez), and quotations
* Handling incoming calls professionally and efficiently
* General administrative duties such as photocopying, data entry, and file maintenance
* Managing diaries, arranging client appointments, and updating case management systems
* Supporting colleagues with secretarial cover and general team collaboration
* Maintaining client confidentiality and high professional standards
The Ideal Candidate:
* Demonstrable experience in a Conveyancing Legal Secretary role
* Fast, accurate typing and solid MS Word skills
* Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage a varied workload
* Excellent communication skills and a confident, client-focused approach
* High attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure
