Role Description
This part-time, on-site Assistant Futsal Coach role is based in Uxbridge. The Assistant Futsal Coach will assist in planning and executing training sessions, mentoring players, and fostering individual and team development. Key responsibilities include supporting head coaches during practices and matches, providing feedback to players, and encouraging sportsmanship and teamwork. The role requires active participation in organizing game strategies and ensuring players’ adherence to guidelines and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Comprehensive knowledge of futsal techniques, rules of the game, and player development strategies
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with players, parents, and coaching staff
* Experience in coaching or playing futsal, or similar related sports
* Ability to provide constructive feedback, motivate young athletes, and enforce discipline as necessary
* Proven dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for diverse age groups
* Basic first aid knowledge and an understanding of player safety protocols
* Availability for part-time, on-site work in Uxbridge
* Coaching certifications or relevant qualifications are an advantage but not required
