We are seeking an experienced Interim Assistant Headteacher to join a special school in South London. This is an interim position until the end of the academic year, with a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Contract & Working Pattern:
* Interim role until the end of the academic year, flexible start asap.
* Full-time preferred, though 3-4 days per week can be considered depending on experience.
Role Overview:
* Support existing SLT, focusing on curriculum leadership, quality of education, and strategic SEND provision
* Complement internal leadership
* Oversee teaching and learning practices, lesson assessments, and high standards xsngvjr across the school
* Support, coach, and develop staff in a practical, hands-on capacity
* Limited teaching commitment
Experience & Qualifications:
* QTS or QTLS essential
* Enhanced DBS (child and adult)
