The role:
* We are looking for an
Innovation Manager
to lead the way in bringing the well-loved brand to consumers.
* This unique opportunity to join the team, with a focus on delivering exceptional innovation projects.
* The successful individual will be responsible for building the long term innovation plan, based on detailed consumer insight.
* Will work to execute the strategic plan, working alongside the wider Brand team and ensuring brand alignment.
* Will ensure delivery of the innovation projects, from start to finish and remaining focused on the consumer throughout. Will continuously review and refine plans and ensure best possible outcome.
* You will collaborate closely with the wider UK Brand Team – stakeholder management is crucial.
* The core purpose is to deliver game-changing innovation for this brand, so throughout each stage of the process, will be the champion for the brand internally and ensure stakeholder buy in (both internal and external).
* You will be part of a high-performing, ambitious team – there is fantastic exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunity to make your mark on one of the most iconic brands within the UK.
Ideal candidate:
* Experience wise, we'd expect c6 years experience within innovation/brand marketing – must be within FMCG.
* Will be able to evidence game-changing innovation – we are seeking people who have held innovation focused positions, so can demonstrate proven success and involvement in disruptive launches.
* Will be working in a role where NPD is critical to business plan, so has spent time evaluating possible launches and creating a business case as to whether appropriate to launch.
* Global exposure would be beneficial, as this role would include launch across multiple markets.
* The successful individual will have a consumer-first mindset and seek to maintain this throughout. They will love understanding their consumer, their behaviours and emerging cultural trends, to ensure the brand stays at the forefront of consumer mind.
* Ability to think outside the box – we are seeking game-changing, disruptive innovation here, so we want someone who can bring fresh ideas and really challenge what is possible.
