We are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to support Secondary Schools across the Wirral area. Due to an unprecented demand for this role, start dates will be from June 2025.
The role of Cover Supervisor is to observe and support the class in the absence of the teacher, managing their behaviour and keeping them on track to complete the work they have been set. You will be supporting pupils in Year 7 to 13 and you will be expected to follow the curriculum and be keen to gain experience and development within the classroom setting.
You will be confident in your communication skills, be able to deliver the lesson plans, support students with set activities and answer relevant questions to the role.
This is an ideal role for any Graduates looking to gain essential experience before starting your PGCE or QTS course or if you would like to return to teaching and want flexible part or full time work.
All schools are within walking distance of public transport and have onsite and off road parking for all staff.
The hours are Monday- Friday 8.30am- 3.30pm term time
Salary Negotiable depending on experience
