Based at one of our delivery locations, experience, knowledge, and skills in warehouse/transport are essential.
You will be responsible for
* Leading your team to ensure your branch trades efficiently, safely, legally, and with high customer service standards.
* Managing delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
* Identifying efficiencies and setting challenging targets to minimize payroll costs.
* Understanding the local market to provide the best service and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Managing your team to meet customer service needs, engaging with customers, and using feedback for improvement.
* Collaborating with regional teams to identify opportunities and improve processes.
You will need
* Previous experience and knowledge of deliveries/transport.
* Management CPC qualification.
* Experience managing warehouse operations.
* Strong customer engagement skills and relationship building.
* Ability to develop ideas and challenge teams to improve service.
* Talent identification and team development skills.
* Motivational skills to foster a customer service culture.
* Effective communication and stakeholder influence.
* Planning and organizational skills.
* A 'hands-on' approach is beneficial.
