Our client, a well-established company in the construction industry, is currently seeking an experienced Office/Accounts Assistant to join their team. This position is based in the Omagh/Enniskillen area.
The role will involve, but not be limited to:
* Preparation of sales invoices, along with proactive debtor management.
* Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate accounting records.
* Managing vehicle administration tasks (e.g., V5C).
* Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
* Experience with VAT returns and compliance requirements.
* Familiarity with Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) is desirable, though not essential
* Assisting with the development and implementation of internal control systems.
* General office administration and ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Proven experience in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial administration.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative.
