We are seeking two innovative and creative individuals to join our newly established HR project team. As trusted advisors and key collaborators, you will leverage your knowledge and experience to partner with managers, helping to transform our business areas, generate efficiencies, and achieve savings. You will work closely with managers to drive performance, foster a positive culture, and deliver impactful people solutions.
With over 6,500 employees across the Council, you must be committed and determined to succeed in a challenging yet thriving and innovative environment. This is a fixed-term position for up to 3 years.

What You’ll Do:
* Partner with the Senior HR Business Partner to identify and implement solutions that meet project plans and deliver outcomes.
* Engage with senior teams within Directorates to analyze workforce data and metrics, implementing initiatives that deliver efficiencies and savings.
* Develop and maintain influential relationships with senior managers to gain confidence in your solutions and ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree/Diploma level education or equivalent, with chartered membership of CIPD.
* Significant experience as an HR professional, including knowledge of employment law, HR policies, project and change management, business systems, and HR data and metrics.
* Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiating skills, with the ability to build rapport and professional credibility.
* Experience working collaboratively with managers, employees, and Trade Unions, coupled with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
A current driving license is essential; however, consideration will be given to those with disabilities preventing holding a license if alternative transport can be arranged.
