Job Description:
As MWH Treatment’s service to its client, Thames Water, continues to flourish into AMP8, we are looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Principal Engineer - EICA at various career levels. Based in the Thames Water region, you will report directly to the Regional Discipline Lead (EICA).
Our programme of work, across a variety of water and wastewater schemes, is expected to be in the region of £400M.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Produce EICA design deliverables that are cost-effective, meet the requirements of the specification, and can be constructed and commissioned effectively. The term ‘cost’ encompasses all costs associated with the design and subsequent construction, including design time, material, erection, and impacts on other disciplines.
* Ensure standard practices are utilized wherever possible.
* Provide estimates and feedback for the Proposals department.
* Work according to procedures and processes to ensure departmental development.
* Assist in developing, monitoring, and reviewing procedures and processes.
* Write, update, and monitor efficient procedures to aid departmental operations.
* Coordinate designs with all other disciplines internal and external to MWHT to ensure cohesive design processes.
* Maintain files and records throughout the contract duration.
* Assure customer satisfaction by prioritizing client needs and feedback.
* Supervise and develop staff members.
* Ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
* Minimize waste from all departmental activities.
* Ensure designs consider environmental issues.
* Ensure designs adhere to all health and safety requirements.
