Tony Gee and Partners is looking for an experienced IT Manager to join the team in Esher.
Tony Gee is looking to recruit an Information Technology Manager to oversee the IT Services and Infrastructure across the business. This role will report directly to the IT Director and be responsible for, managing the relations with key partners and suppliers that underpin the IT services to the business.
This new role within Tony Gee’s IT function, offers the opportunity to join a thriving, award-winning engineering consultancy. This exciting opportunity will allow you to influence the direction and implementation of technology to deliver our digital strategy in the short, medium and long term.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build collaborative relationships with key partners and suppliers.
2. Manage all critical IT issues groupwide (UK and internationally) ensuring effective company communication and prompt resolution.
3. Oversee delivery of services from outsourced IT partner, defining priorities and holding regular reviews to strive for continual improvement.
4. Analyse processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement
5. Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.
6. Managing IT budgets, forecast, handling cash flow and enforcing cost-effectiveness.
7. Oversee software licensing to ensure compliance and cost-effective utilisation
8. Investigate and review new and emerging technologies that may benefit the business.
9. Collaborate with other teams on research and development projects around the business.
Qualifications
10. A bachelors degree in a related subject ( Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Project Management, Business Management)
11. Extensive industry experience

13. Proven record of successfully managing an IT function or department.

17. Excellent project management, communication and people skills.
18. Experience of driving and implementing change at a high level
