Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:
* Proven experience as a key player in delivering technical solutions as part of large projects.
* Familiarity with modern delivery models such as Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
* Experience working in a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment.
* Proficiency with Azure DevOps.
* Experience writing Unit Tests, using tools such as MS Test, and understanding TDD principles.
* Strong understanding of RESTful web services.
* Excellent knowledge of React and experience with Next JS.
* Strong understanding of Node JS.
* Understanding of DevOps principles.
* Deep understanding of architectural principles such as SOA and Micro-Services.
Responsibilities:
* Design, code, test, and document small to large complex applications and solutions in a cloud-first environment.
* Build web-based Front End interfaces that interact with RESTful APIs using React, Next JS, and other web technologies.
* Collaborate closely with test engineers to ensure common understanding of acceptance criteria, the code base, and test coverage.
* Implement toolkits and APIs for integration, performance optimisation, security, and scalability.
* Proactively investigate problems and opportunities within existing processes, communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Identify and manage problems, incidents, risks, and issues according to IPO standards.
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver user-focused digital services while ensuring adherence to governance standards.
* Maintain an open mind and explore innovative solutions to problems, working in a fail-fast manner to deliver required functionality.
* Support the assessment of the Public Digital Services produced by adhering to, demonstrating, and documenting compliance with GDS (Government Digital Services) standards.
