Sheridan Maine are excited to be working in partnership with a well established organisation based in Central Bath who are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their UK finance team on a three month assignment. This role will support the business through a busy period.
Key duties within the accounts payable position will include but are not limited to:
* Processing multi-currency invoices on to the accounting system.
* Matching PO numbers to stock invoices, and coding non-stock invoices.
* Proactively seeking invoice approval.
* Supplier statement reconciliations.
* Preparing multi-currency supplier payments.
* Dealing with supplier queries and developing relationships.
To be considered for this accounts payable role, the successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
* Prior experience in a busy accounts payable/ purchase ledger role.
* Be immediately available to start the assignment.
* Experienced working with and without PO numbers.
* Hold an AAT qualification or be studying towards it.
* Ability to work proactively and use own initiative.
* Confident and friendly communication style.
* Someone who enjoys working as part of a team.
* Highly organised and able to meet deadlines.
