SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary) – Arnold AreaLocation: Arnold, NottinghamshireContract Type: Full-time / Part-time Start Date: AprilSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceAbout the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Arnold area. This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning in a nurturing and inclusive environment.Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
* Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
* Support children with a range of needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language)
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Help create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience working with children in a primary or SEN setting
* A patient, empathetic and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) – desirable but not essential
