We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible, enthusiastic and committed Physiotherapist to work in the Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS) in Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
We are looking for a physiotherapist with experience of working in stroke and neurology, previous community experience is not essential but is desirable. You will work alongside highly skilled clinical specialist staff from the MDT and will be supported by a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist. There is a structured support network and you will receive regular supervision and appraisals. There is a training programme in place and a comprehensive induction package. There will be opportunities to learn and attend external training but you will also be expected to take an active role in your CPD in order to develop your skills within this specialty.
The successful candidate will join a specialist multi-professional team comprising of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Clinical Psychologist (Neuropsychology) and Generic Rehabilitation Technical Instructors working closely with Speech and Language Therapy services along with Stroke and Neurology Rehabilitation Consultants. The team provides patient centred, goal directed specialist neuro-rehabilitation in community and outpatient settings.
This role will be predominantly covering the East of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR), however as CINSS is a countywide service there is an expectation to cover across the whole of LLR when required by the service. The base for this role will be either Melton Mowbray Hospital; St Lukes Treatment Centre, Market Harborough; or Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre in Leicester, this will be agreed with the successful candidate on appointment. This is a part time post for 28 hours a week, the core service hours are 8:00-17:00 Monday to Friday and there is flexibility regarding how these hours are worked across these days/times.

* To work as a specialist clinician to utilise, develop and enhance Physiotherapy clinical and professional skills within the service to deliver high standards of practice.
* To provide specialist Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients within a multi-disciplinary format in clinical care pathways.
* To take a lead in developing the service. This involves promoting high quality clinical practice and ensuring professional standards are maintained in the workplace.
* To deliver a specialist Physiotherapy service to patients within a variety of settings, requiring flexibility/adaptability in recognising the complexity of these environments to maximise their abilities and opportunities for occupational wellbeing.
